Project Rationale

The team at Cedarberg Aqua saw an opportunity to craft tonic waters as an extension of their portfolio. A new, easy-to-understand label with broad appeal was designed. Its overall clean and white aesthetic ensures clarity. Simple line illustrations communicate the different flavours and support the brand as a healthier alternative. The success of the tonic waters launch prompted the expansion of the new look to the existing flavoured water range and the development of flavoured water for kids. Colourful caps make it easy to spot on the shelf.

The Brand

A semi-retired businessman ventured into the natural spring water business in 2002, inspired by his own market and consumer research. He developed the rich natural water resource of Kleinswartvlei into a thriving business after observing consumers’ buying patterns. Today, Cedarberg Aqua offers a wide variety of products for every palate, including sugar-free and kiddies options – all made with natural spring water and the mantra of being fresh, healthy and inclusive.
